NOW Foods Melatonin 3mg Capsule is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of insomnia and jet lag (a sleep disorder due to frequent travel to different time zones). It reduces jet lag symptoms such as irritability, indigestion, daytime tiredness, and sleep disturbances. NOW Foods Melatonin 3mg Capsule helps to synchronize the body’s biological day-night rhythm. It should be taken either 2 hours before or 2 hours after food, preferably at bedtime. However, it is advised to take it at a fixed time each day to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the blood. You should never skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. This medicine should not be stopped suddenly without talking to your doctor.
